FutureTech is a social enterprise offering STEAM* based social and learning programs for neurodivergent youth.
*science, technology, engineering, arts, math
Inspiring neurodivergent minds to build a better future, for everyone.
Our model focusses on STEAM, encompassing autism friendly practises, universal design and enquiry based learning to create a program designed for neurodivergent youth.
Learning
Harnessing participants strengths and interests, we explore world challenges through the lens of engineering, science, arts and technology.
We ensure that all learnings are impactful and positive for every participant, regardless of prior knowledge, so that participants foster a genuine love for learning that extends beyond our program.
Social
At FutureTech, participants connect with autistic peers who speak their language.
Our mentors help to facilitate these sessions using our purpose built Minecraft servers.
Participants are encouraged to make mistakes in a safe environment, and take skills learned into other environments like school.

I like FutureTech because it’s fun, we learn some stuff, and it’s nice having social interactions with kids that don’t judge you.
I’m awkward … They’re awkward…. We’re all awkward together.
I love Futuretech because I can connect with mentors who are also autistic. Speaking with them can be as helpful as therapy
